Amy Bridges is a mom, wife, and blogger, who lives in Los Angeles, California. Inspired by her love of adventure, motherhood, dinosaurs, and the deep parenting truths she uncovered in Michael Crichton’s opus novel, JURASSIC PARK, Amy considers herself a Jurassic Mom.
And well she should… Amy lives a living/breathing life of adventure. From the moment she was born in Sweetwater, Texas, the home of the World’s Largest Rattlesnake Roundup, Amy entered the world ready to run with the wolves.
By the tender age of ten, she had held over seventeen live rattlesnakes and could name all the different species of snake living in West Texas. In addition, she was named the number one TINY SHOOTER in Nolan County, Texas, for her sniper-like abilities with a BB gun.
Amy’s parents were traveling ministers, and because of this… Amy can name all the books of the Bible forward and backwards, while standing on her head, and while doing the breath stroke. She also knows all the words to EVERY song in the Southern Baptist Hymnal, a skill that has awarded her no jobs and has yet to impress a single soul except her late grandparents and all of their friends at the Senior Center.
And if that doesn’t impress you… Get a load of this!
Amy lived in Alaska for a number of years, where she faced record-breaking below-zero temperatures. It was there in the small township of Wasilla, Alaska, a place made famous by Meth Dealers and Governor Sarah Palin, that she would entertain children at the Alaska State Fair. One day, when she was dressed as a Beaver, she met her future husband (Erin), who had also been hired and was dressed as a Moose.
From there, Amy and Erin would travel the world like two minstrel gypsies. Their journey would finally land them in Hollywood, California… Where Amy would find her place writing for Reality Television.
Now… Amy has come upon her biggest adventure of all… the birth of her daughter, Harper. It is here on her tiny piece of the inter webs, that she records her adventures in parenting, writing, and life!
Come! Join the adventure!

Oh, I am so glad I stumbled across this blog through a certain person, who will not be named. The amount of sarcasm and tomfoolery that is on these pages wraps me up like a warm blanket on a cold morning.
Ha!! Thanks for giving me a visit, Dustin. I deal in sarcasm and tomfoolery!
